What we make

Padded, down, shells and wool coats.

Outerwear has more components than anything else we place: shell, lining, fill, hardware. The factory has to be built for the construction, not just the look.

Where it’s made

Where outerwear gets made in Turkey.

We pick the factory, not the city. Outerwear goes to Gaziantep and Istanbul most often.

EUCustoms union

Clothing in free circulation in Turkey that travels with an A.TR movement certificate usually enters the EU without customs duty. Import VAT and your broker’s fee still apply.

UKRules of origin

The UK-Turkey trade agreement allows zero tariff where the goods meet its rules of origin, which depends on where the fabric came from. Tell us in the brief if the goods land in the UK.

→Transport

Road freight to much of the EU usually takes days, not weeks. Your forwarder confirms the transport, the timing and the paperwork.

General guidance, not customs advice: confirm the HS code and your duty position with your customs broker or forwarder before the first shipment.

Cost

What a jacket costs in Turkey.

A range per piece from our cost calculator, for a standard jacket in mid-range fabric. Padded and technical jackets usually sit higher: see what moves the number.

Calculator estimate, not a quote. Mid fabric, standard construction, before extras, shipping and duty; USD per piece. This product starts at 150 pieces per style. The factory’s written quote is the number that counts.

Timeline

From brief to jackets ready to ship.

Outerwear sits at the long end of the bulk range because shell, lining, fill and trims all have to arrive before cutting. These are the ranges we plan with.

FAQ · Outerwear

Outerwear questions brands ask first.

Minimums, construction, timing and duty for jackets made in Turkey. Anything else, put it in your brief.

Still not sure it fits?

Send the product, the quantity per style and the date. We reply within 24 hours with an honest answer. Send a brief
oneaimapparel@gmail.com

Outerwear starts at 150 pieces per style with the factories in our group. We confirm the exact minimum, and whether colours can share it, before you commit to anything.

Budget 2–4 weeks for sampling, then 9–11 weeks of bulk from the approved sample. Shell, lining, fill and trims all need to be in before cutting. With a fixed ship date, start at least 14 weeks before it, and earlier for a first outerwear order.

Some can. Taped or welded seams and membrane fabrics need specific equipment, so put the performance you need in the brief and we only place it with factories that run it.

Some factories in our group hold bluesign or GRS; not every factory holds both. If a certificate is a hard requirement, put it in the brief and we only place it with factories that hold it.

Usually not customs duty: clothing in free circulation in Turkey that travels with an A.TR movement certificate usually enters the EU without it. Import VAT and your broker’s fee still apply. For the UK, zero tariff depends on the rules of origin. This is general guidance, not customs advice: check with your broker.

Step 1 of your brief

What are you making, and how many?
